This means, we give an instruction to redeem a specified amount automatically on the specified date from the scheme.
On the said date, the scheme will redeem the amount your specified and will initiate transfer of funds to your bank account.
If u carefully plan your investments, you can use this option to specify pension type of money withdrawl.
This is why i say Mutual funds can be good wealth creation as well as retirement tools.
